The Rebrand is Complete!

The Rebrand Is Complete! | KeatingBartlett.com

First, I want to thank all of you for your never-ending support and patience. I have been completely all over the place since Zack came home in August and it’s greatly affected this blog. You all have seen this blog go from High Heels & Combat Boots to Keating & Co to Mimosas & Manicures to Why Hello Lovely to KeatingBartlett.com all in a 12-month time period. You’ve watched the entire branding of this blog change on a monthly (and sometimes weekly) basis. You’ve heard me say over and over and over again how I’m working hard on trying to make this blog what I’m envisioning and now after MONTHS of hard work and sleepless nights, my site finally feels like my own. It’s complete.

I can’t even explain what was wrong with my many other rebrands. All I can say was that something was continuously off with every single one of them. It got to a point where it was literally driving me insane because I just couldn’t pinpoint what exactly it was that I wasn’t liking. But it was wrong. All wrong. And now it’s right. The only thing left on my to do list is to get new head shots done ASAP. Then I’ll be 100% happy. But that might have to wait a few more weeks. I’m working on it though.

SO WHAT’S NEW AROUND HERE? WELL, JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING!

First off, you have the entire look of my site. This has been the biggest challenge for me through all these rebrands. I think part of it is because I’m still on this journey of self-exploration. So it’s super hard for me to find my own style because I simply just don’t know what that is sometimes. And that alone makes it really hard to have a successful blog and business because things are constantly changing in my brain. BUT I found it. I put everything together and I just knew this was it. It’s the same feeling I had when I realized I was falling in love with my husband. I. Just. Knew.

In addition to the look of my site, I’ve also fully narrowed down my niche and determined my top categories as well. So, who is my target audience? My target audience are female bloggers and business owners who struggle to find balance in their lives. Between our relationships, our businesses, kids, our education, and everything else we have going on in our lives, it can be super challenging to find the time to focus on self-care and find that healthy balance of everything. So that’s where I come in!

I really want this to be kind of a one-stop-shop kind of deal where I’m covering a wide range of topics. My top five topics you can find here are: Blogging + Biz, Wellness, Pregnancy + Parenting, Marriage + Family, and Beauty + Style. So while I’ll be providing a ton of helpful advice on healthy living and business tips, I also want my readers to have access to healthy pregnancy tips, quick and easy beauty routines, resources to help strengthen their marriages and so much more!

At the end of the day, I want you all to be happy, healthy and balanced.

Next, I’m finally relaunching my Facebook group! This has been another never-ending project for a while now, but I am SO happy and excited to be in a place where I feel I can really focus on it again. This group is dedicated to providing you all with a supportive environment for all your life’s needs whether you’re seeking parenting advice or need help growing your businesses or even looking for the best workouts to fit your schedule. This group is all about YOU! I so it’s pretty empty and needs new members! So if you want to be happy, healthy and balanced, then be sure to join the group today!

Another big thing that’s changed around here is my services page! I’ve been working with other bloggers and business owners off and on for a while now, but never really had it advertised on my site before. I guess I just didn’t want to overload myself with projects…even though I was already doing these things…I don’t know. I don’t understand my mindset sometimes! But now they’re up!

SO WHAT SERVICES DO I OFFER NOW?

In addition to working with my favorite brands on sponsored content, I want to do more to help all of you with your businesses. So I now officially offer virtual assistance, social media and content management, and business coaching. Since every blogger and every situation is different, all of my packages are 100% customizable so if something doesn’t quite fit for you, let me know and we can work something out. I am so excited for these and have already started taking on a few clients for February so if you’re in need of some extra help with your business, be sure to reach out! I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have.

COMING SOON…

Lastly, I want to mention a couple of things to be on the lookout for:

First, I have a ‘free resources’ link located in my top navigation bar which I’m hoping to have opened on Monday. The page currently just doesn’t look the way I want it to look at all so bear with me there. This is where all of my freebies and content upgrades will be located so you’ll always have access to anything free that I create for you all. A lot of these will be downloadable e-books and worksheets to help keep you organized and thriving. The library will be password protected and exclusive to my email list so if you want access then be sure to sign up for my newsletter so you’re one of the first to know when that library is open! You can sign up at the top of this page. If there’s a freebie you want me to create then be sure to let me know!

Second, I will officially be launching an e-course in April (assuming everything goes as planned). I am super excited for everything I have planned for this course so be sure to stay tuned for those updates as well. If you’re on my email list, you’ll be the first to know when the course is being launched and you’ll receive a discount on it as well so don’t miss out there.

And lastly, I’m already planning ahead to the future of this site and one of the things I know I want to have are additional contributors. My mind is thinking two part-time contributors that will eventually end up being full-time once I’m ready for it. I have a few things to figure out here before officially moving forward with this so while I’m in the process of figuring out the details there, I’d love to have some guest posters! Of course all content must align with my site and I do have some guidelines for these posts as well. So if you’re interested in collaborating then feel free to email me at hello@keatingbartlett.com.

I think that is just about everything…there are a couple other things in the works, but nothing quite set in stone yet so I’ll update you all on those when the time comes. For now, I think this is a pretty good post to get you all up to date with everything going on around here.

Again, I thank you all SO much for your continued patience and support. I really do understand that these changes are a pain in the a**. Believe me. I’m the one who’s had to completely redo this site a dozen times. It’s time-consuming and far from fun after the third or fourth time. But it’s together and it’s complete and I couldn’t be more in love with it all. I’m now going to take this weekend off to relax and I’ll be back to my normal posting schedule on Monday!

Have a fantastic weekend!

What do you all think of the rebrand? Is there anything I’ve missed that you’d like to see changed around here? I love and appreciate your feedback!

I’m in love with the colors and simplicity of your site. It’s so classic and clean. I’m really excited for you with all the new changes coming soon. I can’t wait to join the group and see what the future has in store for you!

    • Thanks Leslie!! I actually never even thought of these colors until I found the theme. I fell in love with the theme first and actually planned to change the colors. But once it was all installed, I instantly loved it 🙂 I’m now completely obsessed with this color scheme. It feels very ‘me’.

  • Jen

Congrats on the rebranding! It all looks wonderful!

  • I love your new blog! The purple color is gorgeous (but I’m biased, because my blog is the same color lol!). Can’t wait to hear more about your e-course.

    • Thanks Emily! I had no idea your site was the same color?! I’m going to have to check that out lol stay tuned on the e-course! I’m really hoping to launch it in April, but we’ll see. We’re also in the last three months of my pregnancy right now so I’m sure something will come up and I’ll have to change the launch date lol

  • Samantha Curtis

I’m tired just reading that! Hahaha wishing you the best! xo

    • Haha right?! I’m tired just thinking about it all. No wonder my brain has been so confused and messy these past few months haha but I’m finally feeling a million times more organized and put together. I love it.

  • Jocelyne Shults

Your rebrand is beautiful! I think you have done a wonderful job! Everything looks so clean and professional!

    • Thanks so much Jocelyne! 🙂 clean and professional is exactly what I was going for so I’m so glad so many of you have mentioned that lol

  • jillconyers

I don’t know what your blog looked like before but the rebrand looks wonderful. Did you do the redesign yourself changing the theme? I’m looking for a mini makeover and have been thinking about whether or not to do it on my own or hire someone.

    • Thank you! 🙂 I purchased the theme through Resorted 316. They have some really beautiful themes. And then I fully customized it all to meet my needs. I’ve actually never paid someone else to do anything on my site lol 9 times out of 10, I’m able to figure everything out on my own and my past graphic design courses helped a lot in the design aspect.

  • I LOVE it! I, too, struggle with what exactly my style looks and feels like, so that makes me want to change the look of my blog at least once a month. 🙂 The rebrand looks fantastic and feels so fresh–the layout is so clean and user friendly, so good pick there! Best of luck to you in all of your new ventures, and I’m excited to see where this rebrand takes you!

    • Thanks Natalie! 🙂 finding my personal style has been a nightmare haha I’ve had so much planned for this site this past year and I’ve been completely stuck on finding my style and sticking with it. So I’m feeling a million times better knowing I have it all put together now. I can finally move forward with all my plans. And I’m so happy to have gotten so much positive feedback from you all as well. It means a lot to me to know that you all love it now too.

  • Thanks Greta!

  • Thanks Kristie! 🙂 blog names are seriously the WORST. It’s easily my least favorite part of blogging and putting together your brand. It’s so horrible lol but I’m so glad I finally just decided to use my name. I feel like it’s a new level of professionalism and it’s so much easier now too lol
